turbobullet Posted October 4, 2020 Report Posted October 4, 2020 Just came home with new-to-me 1986 M20K 252. The accompanying POH has had a rough life and is literally falling apart. Does anyone have an electronic version they can send? Did not see anything in the Downloads section. TIA
carusoam Posted October 4, 2020 Report Posted October 4, 2020 Your local MSC should be able to get your POH for you... on a memory stick. Best regards, -a-
toto Posted October 4, 2020 Report Posted October 4, 2020 I used an app called TinyScanner to make a very high quality PDF of my flight manual. I never ever ever touch the real one (which sits in a seat back pocket and does not move). It takes a little while to do, but the app is great about reorienting the pages and adjusting contrast for readability. You basically just flip through the book, snapping a picture of each page, and then process the whole thing at the end. It took me about an hour, one time, and I haven't given it another thought. https://apps.apple.com/td/app/tiny-scanner-plus/id556500145 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appxy.tinyscanner&hl=en&gl=US 1
carusoam Posted October 4, 2020 Report Posted October 4, 2020 Parts of the ship’s POH are very specific to the equipment installed... Scanning the existing POH may be better than getting an incomplete one from the factory... Best regards, -a-
Jetrn Posted October 5, 2020 Report Posted October 5, 2020 I have a pdf copy of poh, mm, and ipc. I’ll email them in the morning, currently at work.
turbobullet Posted October 5, 2020 Author Report Posted October 5, 2020 I'm overwhelmed by the offers of help from you all. Thank you so much. I've got what I need for now...but I may be back with more questions later.
xavierde Posted October 6, 2020 Report Posted October 6, 2020 You can also find pdfs of most AFMS on the Mooney website
