Sabremech Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 Does anyone have a picture of the throttle cable bracket and mountiing between the firewall and the carburetor on a 1966 M20C or similiar? Thank you, Quote
carusoam Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 Ross had some nice photos of that area posted. See if this helps... http://www.mooneyspace.com/index.cfm?page=2&mainaction=posts&forumid=2&threadid=3075 -a- Quote
Sabremech Posted August 23, 2011 Author Report Posted August 23, 2011 Not exactly what I was looking for, but Thank you for the link to that thread. I am looking for a picture where the cable mounts just before reaching the carburetor where it holds the outer sheathing of the cable. The IPC isn't very detailed in this area to determine if what I have is even remotely correct. Thank you Quote
carusoam Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 Sabre, Jezzie has a few pictures in his gallery showing the bracket during engine removal, and mounted on the test stand after epoxy painting everything in black and white. of course, his engine is fuel injected, so throttle may be different.... http://www.mooneyspace.com/index.cfm?action=gallery&userGallery=1429 I'll search a few more that I know of and report back if anything of value can be identified... Update: Phil Neeper has a friend with a camera that has hit every square inch of his M20C. http://www.mooneyspace.com/index.cfm?action=gallery&userGallery=2520¤tAlbum=313 -a- Quote
