Another day, another broken part.

This is a filler part of dome assembly P/N 835-20 that attached to Hartzell prop.

Anybody knows what P/N is for this piece that fills a gap in the spinner dome ?

Hangar fairies have a dumping ground for the remains...

Technically the part may be needed for AW...

Hartzell probably sells them by the dozens...

interested in some used ones?  We know a guy or three... in the business...

:)

Best regards,

I would definitely be interested in a used one if the price is right.

What's the guy contact and also what is this piece p/n ?

You can get new ones.

I would just make a new one, there is $10 worth of parts and an hour of labor.

Are you referring to owner-produced part ?

I had one that was cracked, gave it to a sheet metal guy on the field and whipped it out in short time, fits better than the original

I need to find a mechanic that takes lunch as a form of payment. LOL

He had no choice, I grabbed the ticket...lol. It took him maybe 20 minutes at the most, he flattened my old one for a template and then formed the new one over his thigh, seems pretty simple (curve maybe not) to make but I didn't have all sheet metal tooling that I have now, and no way I could do it in 20 minutes.
