docket Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 My AC is blowing a lot of moisture out of the system when on Hi. The drain is open. Anyone ever seen the issue? Quote
Parker_Woodruff Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 Is it moisture that is in the form of water on your vents or is it moisture that looks like clouds are blowing out of your vents? Quote

Parker_Woodruff Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Quote: docket Parker, it is water out of the vents and almost all of it comes out of the vent where the hat shelf would have been. The most interesting thing is it actually spits out enough water to make the left rear window have water drops covering a pretty good area of the inside. Frankly, I can live with the water drops more than the fact that the thing ain't that cold right now. Right now the AC reminds me of an old Italian car I drove -- it works as long as you don't leave it in the sun and once the interior is hot the AC does very little. Eric Quote
rbharvey Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 I have the same issue with my Ovation's AC but only when manuevering pretty hard (+/- 45 AOB) . Left rear window gets drops all over it, I dont think it happens when flying nicely :-) Quote
Brooks Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 Hmmmmm... question do you have to call for a popup IFR clearence if you ac is causing clouds INSIDE your airplane, or does the aim specificaly say that you cant be in the clouds that are outside of you airplane while flying VFR? just wondering what ATC would say Quote
