Danb Posted August 21, 2017 Report Posted August 21, 2017 My Electric boost pump is reading high when I turn it on when priming to start. What does this indicate. Quote

jlunseth Posted January 18, 2018 Report Posted January 18, 2018 Well, is this a new thing, or a new aircraft/panel? I don't have the GX, I have a JPI 930, but I can tell you that the fuel pressure alert settings in my aircraft are for normal cruise, mechanical pump. If you are just using the electric boost for the first time for this function, it would not necessarily be a big surprise that it produces more pressure than the mechanical pump, and that the G1000, set for the mechanical pump, is now giving you a high pressure alert. On the other hand, if you have done this before (used the high boost to prime) and the readings are only now showing up on the high side, then there may be something going on. Quote
