carusoam Posted July 26, 2019 Report Posted July 26, 2019 Mooney TCs are typically electric, marked with DC on their front... This gives a back-up when the vac system croaks as well as a back-up to the AI, If it croaks... Realistically TCs have their limitations as they age and wear... People are often adding a second AI with a battery back-up and a ball for coordination... PP thoughts only, not a mechanic... Best regards, -a-
FFpilotChris Posted July 30, 2019 Report Posted July 30, 2019 So I bought electroluminescent rings to install on the other instruments. They don't fit because the instruments are too close together. What have you guys been using for panel lights other than the original old lighting system ?
