Parker_Woodruff Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 http://www.avweb.com/avwebflash/news/DHS_suspicious_activity_airport_pilot_203233-1.html http://www.avweb.com/newspics/dhssuspiciousactivity.jpg I have ID from a Southwest Border State. (2 forms, including my CHL). I like paying with cash depending on how sketchy the FBO is. Many Angel Flight Patient Passengers carry a lot of bags. I'm vague on where I'm travelling if I don't want you to know where I'm going. I take students in a Cessna out of a ranch near Waco, TX sometimes. This leads to dirty tires. I have been known to refuel in Longview, TX at 2 am in the morning...all by myself! So my paint's a bit worn out on the cowl...but that G500 and 430W makes me a prime threat! Quote
jmills Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Wow, so "...or provides any ID from a Southwestern border state" is now an indicator of "suspicious activity" in North Carolina? Quote
Piloto Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 I guess I would not fit the profile when I carry my 357 Magnum José Quote
jax88 Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Maybe I should have some fun with Homeland Security/ICE/DEA at the end of the month when I fly from San Antonio to Winston Salem. I could depart San Antonio and go land at Eagle Pass, then turn back for Winston. Just an idea. Quote
GeorgePerry Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Sometimes well intentioned (albeit ignorant) people make asses of themselves. This is just such a case. GMAB. Quote
