Marauder Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 For those of you who have either a 900 or 930 installed with O&N bladders, how close are you to the total usable that the O&N STC claims (54.8 gallons for the 6 bladder system)? Before I picked up my plane on Saturday, my mechanic explained the fuel tank calibration process to me and told me he was not able to get the full 27 gallons per side. He said that both sides calibrated the same but he was only able to get 25 gallons per side. That is 2 gallons per tank less than the O&N STC. What are the numbers you are seeing? Piloto Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 Is that means the fuel capacity went from factory of 64 gallons to 50 gallons with the O&N bladders. 14 gallons less capacity? There must be something wrong your bladders. José 1

Piloto Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 Was the fuel quantity in the tanks measured by a fuel truck filling? This would be the accurate way of determining fuel capacity. 14 gallons is the same volume as 14 one gallon milk containers. What is taking instead all that volume? It wouldn't even fit in my refrigerator! José
Marauder Posted May 26, 2015 Author Report Posted May 26, 2015 I have bladders and it shows 27.4 when full. Did you know if the calibration procedure was followed? I could see a gallon being off per side. Not 2.2. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
