I have a AutoCAD drawing for the panel of our 1970 M20C.  If you are interested I can email you a copy of the file in .DWG or .PDF.

N9495V,  I would love a copy of that in .DWG.  I'll send you a PM.

Is the panel in your plane the same as a '66 E? The E has a fold horizontally down the middle. Most just flatten it out. I guess the more important question is whether or not what is behind the panel is the same. Some have reported issues with the control shaft, etc.

N9495V sent me the panel drawing.  It is an exact match for my '69 C.  If I'm not mistaken, the '68 and older is a different panel.  '69 and up had electric gear, electric flaps, and throttle quadrant.

Yeah, I have that bend in the middle. From what I understand, making a flat panel work is pretty easy to do.

Why hasn't anyone just reworked a bent panel? In my case, all of my instruments are in excellent shape, in fact, my CFII has commented on how rarely I have to adjust my DG. All I want to do is get rid of the huge vacuum gauge, which I don't even need since I have an MVP-50, and then reorder my current instruments into six-pack config. Well, I want to move my CDI over with the ILS on the pilots side as well.

Sorry, meant on the right side I still have alot going on with the switches, etc..... Its not a $100k avionics stack, but its a M20C so its not worth dumping a ton of cash into the panel. With this I will have a much more capable instrument platform and it will get rid of just about all the old sh%^ty wiring that has been a pain since I bought her. With my foreflight with stratus I think I will be in good shape.
