Anyone else getting excited about AirVenture?  We are!  DC-3's, Warbirds presence, night airshows, maybe the Boeing Dreamliner, the North 40, fried cheese curds, Chicago!  And I thought Disneyland was the happiest place on Earth!

I look forward to finding the MooneySpace family out there somehow....

I had to back out of the Caravan list due to scheduling difficulty, but I am still committed to camping with the M20R...

I'll have to hang a sign on her carusoam@mooneyspace.com    .......

See you there....

Best regards,

I haven't been since 1999, and am really looking forward to it. We will take our time -- leave about a week ahead of time, planning to visit family in Denver, and perhaps a national park along the way (Arches).. looking forward.

I registered for the Mooney caravan (late, and I owe them money..better take care of that today)

I am leaving on the 19th sadly I have to drive, I am involved with the Green Gang that handles the communications at Air Venture, I have watched the Mooney Caravan every year for the past 4 years from my seat right behind the announcers. I will turn up the volume just a bit every time the announcer mentions Mooney. Hopefully the winds favor 36L. Come by and see me and ask for Eldon, If you ask for Jezzie they all will all have that puzzled look on their face!

We will find you and all the other Mooney lovers at AirVenture.   We'll be hanging around the MAPA tent, the ArtCraft booth, front row for the Chicago concert, and Mooney Ambassadors presentation.   This will be such fun!!

You Bet!  I plan to fly up to Appleton (have a friend living there) and take in Oshkosh on 7/26.  I am really excited about the possibility of an FW-190 in the warbird area as I have only seen on You Tube video's and in museums.  I have always gone on weekend to catch extended warbird show, but want to see a bunch of Mooney's (and drivers) BEFORE they depart so doing it early this year.  I hope all have clear sky for flying to and from and camping and enjoying the spectacle.  A short flight from CID.  I first went with my father (who was an early Eagle Wingman/EAA member and Confederate Air Force supporter).  We used to sleep in the back of a VW stationwagon back in the 70's!  Good memories.  Have fun making some of your own at AirVenture!

I am very excited about OshKosh. It really is Disneyland for pilots and airplane lovers.  Although we are flying commercially this year, we will be sure to head out to the Mooney Caravan area to meet all the Mooniacs there.  In 2008 I had the pleasure of shooting the arrivals of the Mooney Caravan.  48 Mooneys...I was allowed right on the taxiway next to the EAA Chief Photographer Jim Koepnick. Quite a memory.

I hope to meet all of you!  If you are there on the 30th...come by the GAMA II Pavilion at 2:30 and learn how to "Share the Passion!" with the Ambassadors.

Can't wait~!!!
