Billiesmooney Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 Looking for baffling for my 76 m20c o360 a1d.. Thank you
N9453V Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 Airforms in Alaska (http://www.airforms.biz/index.php?route=product/product&path=20&product_id=86) can make it in about 2 weeks. Cost when I talked to them last was $2047.51. If your old baffling isn't in that bad shape, you may want to consider patching it. -Andrew
philipneeper Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 i been looking for this as well. let me know if you find a cheaper solution.
N601RX Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 I made some new pieces for my F model out of flat aluminum stock using the old ones as a pattern. You will need some basic sheet metal tools and time. The round parts that go under the cylinders can be formed by hand using a large piece of pvc pipe. The materials cost around $25. I cut them out with a scroll saw and then used a tabletop mounted belt/drum sander to smooth up the cuts. For some of the pieces you will need a small break.
philipneeper Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 i still have my original but needs repaired.
N601RX Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 No, I have the later style. I remade the rear and side piece.
