rbridges Posted October 26, 2013 Report Posted October 26, 2013 I was digging through some stuff that came with my plane. The previous owner gave me 4 part #'s MS29513-338 (description says O-ring (outer)) and 4 part #'s MS29513-010 (description says fuel resist O-ring (center)). A paper that comes with them says it's for 431-9R and 531-001 caps. they are still sealed, and the label says they were packaged in 2005 but they have shelf life of 60 qtrs. Does that mean 15 years? anyway, I have O&N bladders with different caps. Let me know if you want/need them, and I'll send you 2 of each or all 4 if nobody else wants any. As a token of appreciation, they are free to any "wont leave" members. Quote
Hank Posted October 26, 2013 Report Posted October 26, 2013 I'll take them off your hands, Rob. My annual is about to start, it's perfect timing. Quote
RocketAviator Posted October 26, 2013 Report Posted October 26, 2013 I am not a Wont Leave yet so let me know what you will take for them a set of them. Thanks Lacee Quote

Ocalafly Posted June 16, 2016 Report Posted June 16, 2016 Hey guys, I'm new to the this site and will be picking up my Mooney on Friday (this is my first plane did my complex on one, loved it so much I decided to go Mooney and not Cessna 182) and at pre-buy inspection mechanic said gas cap o rings were going to need replaced soon. 2 questions for you. Best place to get o rings and if it's worth getting the green over the black and if we can legally install without a ap sign off. Thanks Quote
carusoam Posted June 16, 2016 Report Posted June 16, 2016 Welcome aboard Ocala, I don't remember the exact answer to your question, but I know the search function works really well. There are going to be a lot of questions that you will have over the next few months that are best started with a search. unfortunately, your questions will probably get deeper and more complex. The power of MS... Best regards, -a- Quote
