  1. Neutral filter...like he said
  2. Tried it on wingx pro and flight plan go. Both programs are receiving ADS-B. Antenna was not that great up front. Probably too much interference. Going to look at other possibilities with the code.
  3. Can I get the model or number of that light. There seems to be a bunch of them at spruce
  4. If you didn't wreck the plane...it was a good landing!
  5. Living in Green Bay, I don't fly the week of the EAA. Just trying to stay safe, they don't need anymore planes in the air that week.
  6. I agree...if you see me doing something stupid, please come talk to me. It is a license to learn!
  7. I can do 50. Come on Dave this is going to make a great AOPA story about a bunch of regular guys helping to keep a classic bird in the air. No different than donating to Fifi. Do it Dave, we want to help!
  8. Keith Smith, Pilot Edge, has put together a great video training program called "Real World Ifr". Very well done and very informative. Some people are natural teachers and he is one of them. I like to support people in the aviation industry that add value and improvement to the industry. I encourage everyone that is interested in IFR flying to consider this online purchase. I only rave about products when they are worth raving about. http://pilotedge.net/rwifr Fly safe!
  9. http://equipit2020.com Under 2000
  10. Close all apps first and see if that helps. I use my I phone to get the position then manually turn the go pro on. Use the go pro editor...I find that to be the easiest to edit and add music. Also use a neutral density filter to get rid of the prop. Just having some fun in this video
  11. http://www.insightavionics.com/g1.htm I am very happy with this monitor. Easy install
  12. Kevin, Passed it on to the Mooney Caravan group. 13. What about one in Madison before the caravan arrives. How long does it take. If we are going To Oshkosh any way, this may be an opportunity to get many pilots involved and more mooneys to Oshkosh. Personally, I think it would be a great idea to have one in Madison.
  14. I will look at what we use...I think Aro by infers all rand. It is a great recirculating pump, slow or fast
  15. I like pneumatic pumps because you can control flow and they can handle caustic chemicals. We use them on our coating machines in the printing industry. FYI. Good luck and let me know how it's going
  16. Call me at 920 621 347three It would be easier to explain on phone the process. It cost me about 2000 for the interior. Lots of work but worth it
  17. My feeling is if you don't wreck anything it was a great landing! Hold it off as long as possible was great advise. I also remember a pilot saying treat the yoke as a ratchet. It goes only toward you a little at a time as you keep trying to hold it off the runway. That made sense to me.
  18. And Clarence pumped the gas for me. love this place!!!
  19. Here's what I would like to see....how about a phone call back to don and start by saying" I think we got off to a bad start, do you have a second to talk", in my business grown men then settle things in a civil manner. I think he would gladly want to work out any differences you all may have. I generally don't like the airing of laundry but do appreciate "reviews" to pick the right vendor fit for my company. Example: Don't buy a car from muller Honda Chicago, the sales person I had was very rude to my daughter and I. I was buying a used Toyota and apparently we were asking too many questions. This is a review not a slam. And I agree that you may post anything mooney related you want without being bullied or censored! Thank you for your service to our great country.
  20. I bought mine after 75 hours. I was 50 when I got my ticket. I have a E and am very happy 1974. In my case I wanted a 4 passenger plane and have found 90 % of the time it's just my wife and me. I'm not in the back seat so whatever:) I would get a good inspection on the engine and frame. I did the interior myself and had it painted for 7000. I bought an ugly one that had decent working electronics. I don't have auto pilot but I never have had it. The wing leveler I really like. It flys like a dream. There was a guy in Green Bay that was selling his for 29000. Interior ok paint fair mid time engine. Needed some maintainance stuff but not bad. Everything is doable. Only in America can you have some version of anything. Good luck. Here's me flying on Saturday
  21. I would fix it and always carry a portable
  22. WOW. That flight is now on my bucket list. Will need an instructor though as uncharted territory for me being from a small town.
