  1. They look great!
  2. Are those for tail gaiting or will the go inside.
  3. Full credit! kudos! or should I say bravo!
  4. That's stated as 10% faster, otherwise the bravo would be going about 365 if it were 110% faster.
  5. A balloon will go 230 knots if you give it a...230 knot tail wind. On 0 TAS. I don't think 230 is the true airspeed of the bravo at 17,000. I once saw 327GS with a really ferocious tail wind, at, 17,000ft. That's the biggest number I ever saw on my gps.
  6. These swift legislative actions to make hidden changes before anyone can notice, have a real potential to make undesirable massive damage before anyone has time to react. It is a successful even if underhanded legislative strategy to be guarded against, no matter what your position on a given bill, because we/you may not like the next bill they push through by the same strategy. It sort of short circuits the intended process.
  7. Yes - but he simply asked how to say super.
  8. Uber. So that would be ubercharger?
  9. Yes- and that 1000hp is not considered continuous available but rather limited to what - 10 seconds?
  10. WOW. This would be terrifying! I know the prop isn't imbalanced - its an A330. This plane was clearly in major trouble but made it home safely. What would cause that kind of shaking?! See the video. http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/25/asia/air-asia-flight-turns-back-technical-issue/index.html
  11. I bet this might stand up in court and an FBo might loose if someone sued them to stop harassing them if they tried over such charges. but as I understand it the collections agency route has little recourse for the consumer even if unjustified. They could turn you over to collections over a ten dollar bill then those collections guys will pursue you relentlessly for that ten buck plus a massive profit - with great powers to hurt you financially if you don't comply or have legal means to stop them.
  12. Collections agency.
  13. That would never work. When you turn around your propellor will cut the string. So I suggest bright orange string so that you can still see it once it falls the the ground.
  14. Huh! Now I would buy that Ed King's products, and I would buy Chris King's products, but I would not buy King avionics.
  15. I don't know....but here are the Chris King products that I still think are the cat's meow. https://chrisking.com/ Great headsets and hubs!
  16. Right - that is what I was trying to say - and my understanding - second hand mind you, is that even in relatively standard industrial welding the need for purity to give high quality welds is relatively very high as compared to the need for purity even for medical applications.
  17. I have been told by a professor of mechanical engineer needing - whose field of speciality is welding - that welding o2 is extremely pure to ensure quality and consistency of welding.
  18. Huh! Thanks for the warning - we were in Quebec City - by car - this weekend - and I was thinking gee - next time I should fly. So does CSG5 have reasonable fees?
  19. Yup - that's me - ground locked! :-? By the original runway schedule - I should have had my plane back last week. The paint schedule has slowed slightly I think because it became clear there is no rush anyway but I think it will finish late last week. I might need to just drive over and see it. But maybe I had better not since then I would be sorely tempted to depart on the taxiway! SO I flew in to 2500ft and I will fly out of 3700 ft I believe it is. So its hard on me - but I'm not complaining because it is much harder on the several businesses on the field that rely on people being able to come in and out.
  20. I used SCS last winter where they redid my complete my leather and carpets, in concert when my airplane was at Wilmar for tanks, and while Mr Jaeger did his interiors panel system. I posted pictures here somewhere already, but I will be posting a completed refurb photo shoot in a few weeks, once the paint is done - its in paint right now - to be completed next week I think -' only the runway is not.... Its at Middlebury VT where the runway was started for resurface (planned of course) immediately after I dropped of for repaint. The runway is behind schedule about 2 or 3 weeks because of all the rain. If only I had a helicopter - I could just bring her home when the paint is done! Anyway, SCS did an absolutely gorgeous fantastic job.
  21. Does that include turbo prop? Honestly I don't see what the cirrus jet does that a single engine turbo prop doesn't do better. Similar ceiling (STP is higher), similar speed (STP is faster - tbm is much faster), similar runway requirements, (STP is better) similar fuel burn (STP is better), similar seating (some of the STP are better), similar cost of acquisition - when new (for some models) (but many of the STP have been around for a while so you also have the possibility of buying a very well priced well maintained used model). TBM.
  22. Or maybe a circus bear.
  23. 50cc Honda scooter - 0.145 gph, 15.5 knots. Mogas. Economy king.
  24. That's roughly what I have heard. But they sure are cool.... The B55 must be somewhere inbetween a M20M and an aerostar to operate. At 15k annuals, then it must make sense to even consider a single engine turbo prop. Other than acquisition costs. So back to earth - sort of - an M20M is still a "common"-folks airplane - sort of. Anyway a beautiful machine.
