  1. Unless you're totally set on a 201 cowl, @Sabremech is working on a much improved version for the vintage models that would probably be much simpler to pursue.
  2. No, I'm Asian so they insisted that I take the picture.
  3. I crawled under the wing to clean it last night. Tuff stuff barely helped. I used a little acetone, and it worked well. The fuel residue was very firm.
  4. That automatically adds the 1000 gallon fuel tank mod.
  5. they probably included tax and shipping.
  6. wow, this picture really says a lot. Does it look like one of the fuel trucks in the bottom right caught on fire?
  7. Are they buying planes afterwards? Serious question. I know a few that got PPL and either went military or pretty much stopped flying
  8. Oh thanks. My overhaul was prior to 2012.
  9. Wow, that's awesome. Thanks for going above and beyond.
  10. Not to insult anyone, but is there any chance these won't work or would be glitchy? No one seems concerned, so I see that as a good thing, but I just gotta ask.
  11. Me neither. I'm just gonna hold the flashlight and say that I helped.
  12. @Marauder gave me some advice. I'm going to fly up to @Mooneymite and look at it with him and one of his mechanics. Hopefully it's a simple fix.
  13. That's the first time I've seen it. How'd it look in person?
  14. I have no idea how to do that. Not sure the local IA would either. I sent a pic to Joey Cole.
  15. Just noticed it today. Anyone got any ideas? Sorry for upside down pic.
  16. I've seen mine listed as '65 and '66 depending on where I look. It will be listed as '66 when I sell it, but as a '65 for the tax man.
  17. Photoshop? You people and your conspiracy theories.
  18. I think Bruce's Custom Covers makes a coronavirus version.
  19. This is the message I sent to David, but I know he's busy and may not have time to play 20 questions with each of us. "I'm interested but I'm not sure if I should go with one or both? What do you recommend? Mine is for a rainy day. I believe the one on the floor (gear up lock) has been replaced, but isn't this the one that wears fastest?" What's everyone's opinion of which to purchase?
  20. I have no experience with turbulence in the flight levels, maybe it's the same, but flying in severe turbulence sounds like no fun. My saying is the same as @Ricky_231 , better to be on the ground....
  21. My wife and I fly to Hilton Head a couple of times each year. I still can't find that airport at night until I'm right on it.
  22. I don't like to fly unless I have at least 120SM of visibility. Gives me plenty of time to react.
