  1. I set up mine so that the PFD is centered on ME when in multi screen mode (G3X with EIS strip on left). I am not centered on the yoke when flying. I need to take a picture in split screen, as the PFD moves to the left when you go to split screen
  2. If any work has been done on the mags or switch or wiring, I would check that the mags are wired to the proper switch position.
  3. Except that Lycoming has already published a Service Bulletin that doubles the oil change interval when using unleaded fuels. I think that double the oil change interval is a significant increase. And once 100LL is gone, synthetic oils will further increase oil change intervals, as they did in auto. We went from 3000 mile oil changer intervals to over 15,000 miles.
  4. Fuels ARE required to be tested to be compatible with things like seals and O-rings. And G100UL was tested against actual seals and O-rings in actual aircraft systems such a valves and selectors and fuel injection systems. And, AFAIK, there have been ZERO field reports of issues with them
  5. THIS ^^^^^^ And SDSs are written by lawyers these days.
  6. https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/US/en/product/aldrich/511218?srsltid=AfmBOooEjKYeQ-06IBqwXcccf2X_aiRUOwEAgewQLK9TXK7ii1Vuzc5T $164 per liter. Not sure how you would get G100UL without any, as the formula is not published.
  7. They do have great customer service. I called about which one I should get, and spent about an hour with clear explanations of what each one had and did not have. I ended up with a 450B and love it.
  8. Look on You Tube for some videos of Reno air racers running nitrous. Some pretty impressive engine failures.
  9. I have a 115 CF tank and use a Mountain High O2D2. With 1 - 2 people, my bottle gets filled at annual, it is not very low.
  10. I find mine easy. Take off and climb, every thing full forward. Accelerate for cruise, set 29,5 inches, 2300, 10.1 GPH, relax.
  11. My plane had Aspen 1000 Pro, EA-100 driving KAP-150. Setup worked fine. It had a G-5 for backup. No vacuum system at all.
  12. I think someone has posted a print file. But the one I got from Sporty's was 3D printed.
  13. LOP is easy. 14.9 HP per gallon per hour most NA engines. 13.7 for turbo.
  14. Exactly. My point was that there is SOME power applied when the Master is switched on.
  15. Slight correction. the M4 and M4AI Shermans used the R-985, which is the same engine as the Beech 18, not the C-47.
  16. "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth” - Sherlock Holmes You have checked everything, EXCEPT the magneto itself.....
  17. Except for the cost of flying it.
  18. I think that may be a startup thing, to not charge for making a batch. In 2020, about 412 thousand gallons of AVGAS were burned PER DAY. Or about 150 million per year. So even at 1 cent per gallon, GAMI would be making 1.5 million per year for just licensing making G100UL. 10 cents per gallon would be 15 million. GAMI doesn't need to charge much per gallon to make some nice money.
  19. None and nothing. Just like no one polices you using MOGAS. But, your insurance company might have a say if you have a mishap that is fuel related.
  20. I do know that the AEIO-360-B2F (180 HP) can use 91/96 avgas. At least according to the placards and POH for my CAP-10.
  21. Except that several major players in the petroleum market have tried and failed and stopped trying.
  22. AV-20S. You have your main AHARS and a back up. What if they disagree?
