    Is there any way I can stop ADSB from tracking me everywhere I go? I currently have an appareo Stratus ESGi If you look on flightAware, you can see everywhere I've flown; it really makes me nervous. Anyone else not comfortable being tracked everywhere you go ?

    Welp, after the oil pressure/temp sender decided to come loose while in flight, I ended up changing my oil for the first time. Can you say oil EVERYWHERE. I wrote my first log entry , 7 quarts of aeroshell 15w50, champion filter, open and replaced cowling, checked for leaks. 8) Can I say nothing about the job was enjoyable? I'm just saying, the guy who designed aircraft engines is NOT my best friend. oh well, guess you have to pay for the fun somehow.

    Welp, since i'm not flying this weekend, figure it's time to learn how to change the Oil. currently the plane uses phillips xc 20w50 but thinking of switching to elite 20w50 with the Lycoming additive. what type of oil are you guys using? also, what is the part number of the oil filter? Oh yeah, my plane 1974 M20E -- N7106v.

    The power supply for my beacon up and quit and instead of replacing it i'm wondering if it would be legal to just delete. my plane along with nav lights has strobes at all 3 points. from what I've read, isn't that sufficient?

    Avionics shop finally confirmed my kma20 is toast. Anyone know where I can get an inexpensive replacement? is there anything that's a slide in replacement? also, it seems my beacon is toast, what's the best replacement?

    the pictures don't give the proper sense of scale. To get around all the water, I had to drive ten miles west of the airport.

    txbyker, what all did you have to do after the tax day floods ? did you repack the bearings? what shop did the work? how long did it take?

    Mike, that picture has given me hope. Maybe i'll try getting up there in the morning, if it's still dry, possibly put it on bricks.
