  1. What are you replacing? It’s obviously cheaper to swap out what you already have.
  2. The CGR 30P is certified replacement for stock gauges. I don’t believe the C is. These gauges are also “tailored” for specific aircraft, meaning when does the yellow or red arc begin. Unless your donor aircraft is the same, probably not a good choice. I think your only source will be junk yards.
  3. anxiously awaiting
  4. I’ll buy it for $50.
  5. Okay, I’ll bite. What’s reasonable? I agree that having an extra card would be nice, but...

  7. I've also heard of paperwork nightmares or no documentation issues with Canadian aircraft, so make double sure the logbook is intact and stays that way. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Did you sell it? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. I already had the GTN 750 installed and the shop took 10 hours for installation. It was the first time they've installed one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. So has anyone actually bought these? How about posting a review and some pictures please. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  17. Since I couldn't find anything on how to repair my plastic interior panels, I created this rudimentary video on my efforts . Please be kind about my acting and producing skills! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Be prepared for buying one after the kit fails. I tried to fix ours last year, but afterwards it still leaked. We found a local shop that sold us an exchange compass for ~$100 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. We purchased the CGR30-P and like it just fine. We removed the oil temp, pressure, MP, RPM, fuel, pressure, CHT, & EGT gauges. Don't figure you're going to be able to sell all your old gauges, at least don't factor it into your decision. If you can sell some, it's a bonus. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Which is where? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. 500 hours is the AD note on the impulse coupling, so it's going to be taken off. We just came up on that number and coincidentally, found a dead mag on a run up. Luckily, it was at our home base. I'd have it looked at every 500 hours. The price tag was $2300 when the shop fees were added and finding someone who had one in stock. Not easy to do in a pinch! 22. I've been talking to a local shop about an interior change. He said they'd "re-dye" the plastic parts. My question is, is this a fancy word for spray paint? What have you done to change the color of your interior parts? Mine is an '81 J. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Any pictures? What is the color/materials. Price for seats? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
