  3. I bought that plane in CA. No electrical issues and a working AP. LASAR annual was multiple 5 figures. We're still happy with the purchase and getting ready to update the panel. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  6. Reading my MAPA Training Manual, introduction page ix states the Gross weight of the 1991 J model was increased from 2740 to 2900 lbs. Late model J's could be re-certified at the higher weight. Questions should be referred to Mooney. Has anyone attempted to re-certify their J? If so, what are the details?

  11. You have to know that many if not all ALPA members who grew up in GA don't share the presidents view. There's currently a campaign to ask him to stop fighting AOPA, but will probably fall on deaf ears. I'm not certain, but pretty sure the ALPA president is former military, and many of them look down their noses at GA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. Here are the primary and secondary pages. Everything is working great! The only issue was the installation was guesstimated at 20 hours labor, but it took 30! All told, over $6k! There's a red and yellow annunciator that will flash if any of the functions is in the red or yellow zone. Helpful if you're not on that page! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
