N177MC Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 I'm trying to sort out the cabin lights on a 1990 M20J. This year has a novel feature with switchs in both doors wired to a control unit that turns off the cabin lights after a pre-determined time - just like in a car. The question is : Where is the control unit actually located ? I can see it in the wiring diagram ( JK-LC117A) but it's not clear as to where it's actually located ! Thanks a 1,000,000 as always !
JoeSpeed Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 The unit in my Ovation is mounted on the aft bulkhead behind the baggage compartment . Power came from the Hobbs which was powered by the airspeed safety switch
