Parker_Woodruff Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 I'm currently stranded with a student at 0A3. It appears to be a bad slick mag, switch, or doubtful - a P-lead. 1) I need to get to Nashville for an airline flight and need ideas to get there. No rental cars to be had. Last resort is hope one of the Lincoln town car types will come out here. Ive gotta get back to work in FL Monday and he needs about 2.5 more hours dual instruction in his plane prior to flying on his own. Anyone on this board able to help?shoot me an email Hopefully he'll have the plane running by Monday or Tuesday Quote
jetdriven Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 Craigslist! Its 58 miles one way. Offer someone 75-100$ to come out. Quote

Krh3682 Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 Parker I live just outside of Nashville, and I can come pick you up tomorrow if you need it. I'd fly out in my J, but it's down for a bad mag too. Kyle Holt N1978J I'll pm you my cell later if you decide this is the route you want to go. Quote
Krh3682 Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 I could also probably hook your student up with a good instructor. He's not exactly a "Mooney CFI", but he flew enough with me in my plane getting me ready for my IFR Check Ride. Kyle Quote
Parker_Woodruff Posted June 2, 2012 Author Report Posted June 2, 2012 Thanks Kyle - I'll let you know. I think I'm good to go for getting home though. Thanks! Quote
Qwalton Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 I can probably work something out for him. I live in Greenville, SC and own a '65 C model. Let me know if you still need someone. Quote
