Drawings and other design specifications may be more difficult. As infrequently as you will likely use it, why not borrow? Quote
EricJ Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago The valvewizard is not a bad choice for an angle-valve engine. For parallel valves there are some easier tools, and some DIY methods that also work well. I have a valvewizard for the angle-valves and one of these for parallel valves: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/topages/compressor.php Edit, there's also this, for Lycoming engines: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/topages/compressor2.php Quote

As an FYI: the Valve Wizard lists IO 550 N and G as incompatible with their tool. I think that covers all generations of the NA big engine long bodies. https://valvewizard.com/pdf/ExceptionList.pdf 1 Quote

Paul Thomas Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago If I recall correctly, Dan Horton posted information on how to make one on Van's Air Force. Quote
hammdo Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Real simple too: Aluminum angle from home depot -- just measured it so it would fit as needed -- I believe $30 for the aluminum -- very simple... -Don Quote
