As carriers realize their risk exposure is reduced with formalized structured FITS based training, we anticipate a few quality underwriters will recognize that not all Mooney pilots fit in a high risk profile. Parker_Woodruff Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 Some companies provide training discounts for completion of WINGS phases, IPCs, etc. Some companies without these discounts are already the most competitive, even after other companies have discounted. Asking underwriting companies for more discounts can be an uphill battle when personal use piston aircraft are/have many times been a loss leader... Quote
