Indeed we are. I hope to do it in stages, limiting myself to simpler operations and simpler aircraft.

Father Time may set limits, but it's up to us to have the intelligence and strength to understand what they are.

Since I don’t have the step, it will probably happen when getting on and off the wing becomes a chore.

That would be hard without the step.  Probably easier with the flaps down.

Took a flight in a friend's Piaggio P.149 and could barely reach the step.  Literally had to grab a handle with one hand and used my other to lift my leg up!!!  But what an amazing plane.
