I recently bought a Mooney M20F  (holy crap, yes, I'm excited) and it has a Garmin transponder with ADS-B and BT, so this unit I think was the Previous Owner's prior solution.  It came with the plane.  Just tested it on my iPad through Garmin Pilot, it updated the firmware and is sending data.  Seems to work great.  I don't know much about it though, so I would be happy to do any testing before sending if you would like.

It comes with what is pictured in the first image: original box, manual, battery base, charger, and the GDL 39 unit itself.
