Can someone here tell me what the inside diameter of the nose gear is? I’d like to make a rack for my sidewinder towbar so it’s not laying on the ground.

When you say the "inside diameter of the nose gear" I'm guessing you're asking about the tube where you insert the towbar. If so, then what you're looking for is here:

I just screwed a large plastic-coated hook in the wall and hang it from the drill handle so it hangs conveniently right side up.

I could do that, but I’ll have to frame it up as I can’t penetrate the wall. Thanks

I use 3/4 pipe to make tow bars, it has an OD of just over 1".

As the original poster of the former question, I can confirm that the ID of the steering tube above the nose gear is just a tad over 1”, as @bcg said.
