The slimy Mooneye

Someone at my University is studying a fish called the Mooneye that seems to be native to our local waters.  Never heard of it!  But I have done some fly fishing around here...

Those nasty bait eating things infected the Tippicanoe river many decades ago. They decimate the crawfish and minnow population and thus destroy the bass habitat. We called them shad.
