Anyone have any good or bad experience with getting your aircraft propeller dynamically balanced at a shop in Florida?  I'm not asking whether or not to get the propeller balanced, but instead asking for any experience and recommendations on a shop to get it done.  I am presently considering Double M Aviation in Lakeland, FL.

Jim @ Centric aviation in Apalachicola just did my newly overhauled prop.  He got it down to 0.04 IPS in two or three runs.

Smooth like butter now.

It's a great idea to have the prop dynamically balanced. It can smooth the engine/prop combination, but more importantly, it can reveal other problems that need correction. Such as engine isolators, or weak cylinders, ignition system problems...

It all depends on the knowledge of the tech doing the balancing.

In about 1/3rd of the balances I do, I have to recommend other corrective actions.

Where are you located? Sounds like we should talk.
