I tried referencing an old thread here but didn't get too much traction. It's from forever ago, so I figured I'd ask in a new thread.

The KFC-200 on my M20K has been acting up. My mechanic and I had fixed some stuff (at first, the connections on the trim wiring were off, so he fixed those and it started to work again) but then when I tried to show him it was broken a bit differently, it was super intermittent. After reading the above thread, we mashed the disconnect button a few times and it started to work again. Looks like that's indeed starting to go. It's *very* old.

Does anyone know the part number for the KFC-200 AP Disconnect? Is it C2003R?

Oh man, better utilizing google redirected me to MooneySpace...

If you are searching MooneySpace, adding site:mooneyspace.com to a search using your favorite search engine usually produces the best results.

Yeah I usually do. My google-fu is strong. This wasn't the top thread found, nor really in the top few. I stumbled upon it later. Maybe my google-fu is weakening.

Either way, this sites awesome. Part ordered.

Fun fact.. Ordered it from here. If you order it under a guest account, check below what they charge for shipping. If you make a free account, shipping is free.

I just shipped two KFC 200 trim switches from MI to CA, guaranteed overnight for $30ish each.

If that is the split switch on the yoke, it's a helluva price.  If I didn't already have a spare, I would buy one from you.

That's the shipping cost

I see.  So he's saying his shipping costs are lower than Air Power?

I think he was just adding to the conversation that the ground shipping costs mentioned earlier in the post shouldn't be nearly as expensive as they were, since he could ship something overnight for $30.

Yes, I don't gouge people, perhaps the 40+ years of doing this taught me more efficient methods.

I think it's the same for both.

Yes, B-K used the same switch forever. That’s what was in my KAP 150.
