Dick Denenny Posted July 29, 2023 Report Posted July 29, 2023 I am putting in a PTT in the yolk of my "65 M20E. I am using the PC hole. All of the PC has been removedl. I have been able to thread wires through the vacuum holes in the yolk and down the tube and need to connect it properly. I accidentally pulled too hard on the telex velcro PTT so can't see where they went. It had three wires. Yellow Red and Blue. I can see only two white wires that seem to come from the jacks. What was the yellow wire for? Do I need all three or can I just connect up two? Quote
7.Mooney.Driver.0 Posted July 30, 2023 Report Posted July 30, 2023 The P.T.T is usually wired to the microphone jack (smaller of the two) Tip and sleeve legs. http://www.aeroelectric.com/articles/micjack/micjack.htmlSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

Now I see what the yellow wire was for. Unneeded in my application. DD 1 Quote
