AGL Aviation. Any Pireps?

Hello Folks,

I am looking for a Mooney familiar shop  for an annual due this winter. Any reports on AGL in NC? Are they still a Mooney shop?  It seems like the shop has been sold or under new management?

Anyway if anyone has had service done there lately please let me know your experience.

The owners (the Mooney people) moved to Texas and work with the Maxwell's now.  I thought it was closed then, but perhaps changed hands?

AGL is alive and well under the management of John Car. Lynn Mace was interviewing potential new owners the last time I had my airplane in to AGL, right before he and Tamara moved the family to Texas, and he spoke very highly of John and his Mooney knowledge. I haven’t had them do any work yet but have my annual scheduled with them in December. The new owner maintained the same flat rate price schedule for annual inspections, and the shop is still identified as an MSC.
