VSI overhaul?

I have noticed over last few flights that my VSI is turning pale/white....

Is this an indicator of a potential problem down the road?

Also cosmetic or not I would like to have it back to its original black and white crisp color....

Any advice on where to send it?

I may do the altimeter as well.....I have G5's but just want it all looking good...

also does anyone have any idea what part number/manufacturer VSI I have?

The VSI just needs the glass cleaned. If you want to do it yourself, which is strictly prohibited. They are very sensitive to the quality of the glass seal. I would just call around to instrument shops and ask if any are willing to clean the glass.
