7615 washer for plastic interior window trim

Any tips on where to find these fancy washers? LASAR has them for $0.10/ea but their shipping is crazy. Buy $5 worth of washers and pay $25 in shipping. The CB in me says that’s “nuts” (not a wash for a washer)

 

Someone mentioned Amazon, search using “Chicago washer”? But they are not SS? Rust issues?

I get them at the ace hardware store. Probably cheaper to order them from Laser. They are common parts. Finish washer. That washer appears to be nickel plated brass.

McMaster Carr has everything you need… but I went with the ‘hat’ style trim washer, which spreads out the load.  If you don’t mind that it looks different.

Pretty common hardware, if your only needing a couple ask one of the locals that work on their own plane, more than likely they will have some……. I hate paying shipping, so I keep a list of items I need/want and use it as “fillers” to get to the minimum for free shipping…. There 5 or 6 of us that keep a list and are generally out a the airport regularly so between us we can generally get an order together fairly quick
