AerostarDriver Posted November 3, 2021 Report Posted November 3, 2021 I got an email from savvy picturing a what looks like a Aerostar Mooney with way more windows then it should have. Any guesses? 1 Quote
DXB Posted November 3, 2021 Report Posted November 3, 2021 Bastard offspring from an affair between an M22 and an Aerostar F model?? 1 Quote
David Lloyd Posted November 3, 2021 Report Posted November 3, 2021 Seems like at one time there was a 4th window mod from LASAR. This one on an Areostar Mooney. I've only seen a picture of one other in the last couple years. Quote
AerostarDriver Posted November 4, 2021 Author Report Posted November 4, 2021 What is confusing is the N number comes back as attached to a Bonanza and has been canceled for some time. Quote

carusoam Posted November 4, 2021 Report Posted November 4, 2021 It has both the Butler button hook and stinger tail…. These beauty marks were only around for a couple of years… Not many were retained over the years… Often, the middle two windows are replaced with the one larger window of the newer models…. An easy non-structural update… Best regards, -a- Quote
jaylw314 Posted November 4, 2021 Report Posted November 4, 2021 I got that same e-mail. The story was about an M20F, but it wasn't clear if that was the actual one in the photo Quote
