Thinking about the GA part of TOGA, but it is also easy to miss in a touch and go which I sometimes do for training purposes as an efficient way to get a full procedure down to the runway rather than making every one a missed at the MAP. 1

Some Mooneys have their cowl flaps fixed in one position… about an inch or two open… some of the newer M20Cs… Others have no cowl flaps at all…. A slightly larger open area around the exhaust pipes to duct heat away…. Ovations… -a-
