Ya - I used ropes on the wing tiedowns and a ratchet strap style on tail (adjusted to have a small bit of slack, but not much). Bungee cords between the left & right yoke to hold the ailerons, and a bungee from the right-side yoke to under the passenger seat adjustment bar to give some hold on the elevator. Seems pretty sturdy.
