fantom Posted January 7, 2020 Report Posted January 7, 2020 From David: In spite of a forecast for bad weather, we had reasonable VFR weather for our last event, and 9 Mooneys and 2 Bonanzas brought 19 people to Bartow for a good time visiting and eating. Our next event with be this Saturday, January 11, at Leesburg (KLEE). The local EAA Chapter will cook hotdogs and hamburgers for us. Then after lunch, weather permitting, we will car pool over to our house and run Ruth’s backyard garden railroad, with 1,000 linear feet of G gauge track in 4 loops. All events start at 11:30. Please check your e-mail before attending as sometimes I make last minute changes for various reasons. Future Schedule January 11, Leesburg (LEE) February 9, Fort Pierce (FPR) March 14, Winter Haven (GIF) April 11, Flagler (FIN) I really appreciate it if you can e-mail me (daveanruth@aol.com) by Thursday night of the week of the event and let me know if you are going to try to make it, so I can call the restaurant on Friday with a head count. No one is obligated to come if they told me they are coming and can’t make it for mechanical, weather, health, or any other reason.
