kpaul Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 I have no affiliation to this company, just happened to come across it on the net and though there may be some MLB and Mooney fans on here. https://majorleagueaviation.com/decals/major-league-aviation-stickers/general-aviation-aircraft-stickers/mooney-m20-stickers/ 4 Quote
Yetti Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 Wife bought one of these to play with https://www.silhouetteamerica.com/print-and-cut I grabbed a mooney logo from the interweb Ordered some shiny vinyl from Amazon. For Christmas gifts one year we bought stainless mugs and put people's names on them with a design Quote
Yetti Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 I was going to do a big Mooney bird and do it across the top of the cowl like the Firebird TransAm of the 80s 2 Quote

Yetti Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 The date on the picture is 12/6/2015. They still look good today. For the vinyl we got it was a sampler pack of car vinyl and there is a clear layer that I was not sure if it was supposed to stay on or take off. I think it is starting to peel. Quote

steingar Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 I had tiny stripes on my Cherokee. They started chipping a few years in. Kinda soured me on the concept. If your paint ships you can touch it up. Vinyl not so much. Some experimental builders wrap their planes in the stuff. Sounds like a horrible idea to me, having a layer over the aluminum that can trap moisture. Quote
MARZ Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 Not perfected yet but here's my latest hangar addition. 5 Quote
