  1. I’ll take it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. We fly in there 5 to 6 times a year. Been doing it for years. Read the procedures. Pay attention. Fly your plane. If you can’t keep up the climb rate, circle the field and climb. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. My 79 came with electric trim and alt hold. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. You have a fuel leak. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have a 430w installed and working. Autopilot works great with 430w. My question: Can the 530w “plug & play”. I know we will have to cut the dash a little bit more. I know we will have to swap out the trays. Is the wiring compatible? Is the install easy? (New 530w was given to me) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Try a Cessna 140 taildragger. Get the training done and some CC time. Sale it and move to a Mooney. When you learn to fly in a taildragger, you can transition to HP much easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. You said it much better than I. What you have stated is what was in my thoughts, I just did not state it as eloquently as you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Cheap bastard. You do not want to be known as one. And if you are a pilot, being one can kill you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I have a ‘79, m29k 231. I need to know the nav bulb numbers. They look to me like the original fixtures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Can anybody shoot me the pages from a maintenance manual for a M20K 231 with a tail-360-LB1 that pertain to setting the oil pressure. About to send it to the mechanic, I like to know what is happening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I agree with you completely. I look at the altitude I need to lose, multiply that number by two, That’s how far out to start your descent at 500fpm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Every temp on every gauge was normal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I have a ‘79. M20k 231. Was on a 2 hour flight today and the oil pressure kept rising. Arrived at destination just as it got to the top of the green. Oil and filter and annual and oil analysis done 5 hours ago. No visible sign of an oil blown out anywhere. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I flew in Friday evening. Didn’t see this till just now. Sorry I missed it. Glad we got my bird into a hanger last night Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
