Glas467 Posted March 8, 2015 Report Posted March 8, 2015 Mooney Community, Looking for permanent hangar space in the Pensacola FL area, happy to share space, rent an individual T-hangar, or space in a community hangar. Anyone have recommendations in this area? Also looking for temp (3 months) hangar space in the San Antonio TX area starting the last week of April through last week of July. Any help or recommendation greatly appreciated! Reggie Quote
Mcstealth Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 Where in the San Antonio area? North, South, East, or West? Quote
N601RX Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 My brother keeps his RV in Pensacola. I heard him say a few weeks ago that the FBO at the main airport had some space there and that the rates were negotiable. Ferguson is also a nice place that is based totally around general aviation, family owned and very friendly. No TSA to deal with either. They have both a grass and paved strip. Across the bay in Milton is a little cheaper. http://www.fergusonairport.com Quote
Wesley brown Posted March 19, 2015 Report Posted March 19, 2015 San Geronimo airpark has new hangers for rent. 8t8. Gated private community with exceptional people an support. 3000x40' runway paved. Only led lights on runway located on the west side of San Antonio. Quote
Velox Posted June 17, 2016 Report Posted June 17, 2016 Did you ever find hangar space in Pensacola. my son lives there and I am moving there this summer. if you are on the east side and close to I10 I recommend Milton they are really nice people and have been very helpful to me over the years when I have dropped in. For me being west of town Furgeson looks like my only option. the problem with Fergie and the other Pensacola airports is all of the airspace is difficult to operate in without getting busted. Thats why I like Milton. Also their fuel price is the best around Quote

A few months back I attended a Formation flying event with Mooney pilots in Yuma, Az. My son and I had a ball. 1 Quote
carusoam Posted May 21, 2017 Report Posted May 21, 2017 (edited) Velox, Does this make you Dr. Eichorn? If you have a website or a link for the rev2, you can add that to your signature line on your avatar data page.... This helps people remember everyone just a bit better... Of course a great photo works as an avatar too! Best regards, -a- Edited May 21, 2017 by carusoam Quote
