BuzzProc Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 Greetings all, I have a 1999 model with a King 150 Autopilot. The trim is not working and my MSC and I think it is the actuator, but not sure. Anyone know of a good Autopilot svc center in the SW. I am based in south East AZ and MSC is in Chandler AZ. Quote

Is your electric trim working if you use the button on the yoke? If not, have you checked the switch? Quote
carqwik Posted January 29, 2015 Report Posted January 29, 2015 Autopilots Central in Tulsa, OK. PM me for more info why I'd advise you to go to them the first time if it is truly a problem in the A/P system...BTDT chasing A/P problems in the past. If it is the trim not responding to the electric trim switch, then it's probably just the switch...I am dealing with an intermittent trim switch now, but the A/P works just fine. Quote
FlyDave Posted January 29, 2015 Report Posted January 29, 2015 I'm using Executive Autopilots on Sacramento, CA. So far the tech that's working on my plane has been very thorough and a pleasure to work with. But I haven't gotten the bill yet Here is their web site: http://www.executiveautopilot.com/ Quote
BuzzProc Posted January 29, 2015 Author Report Posted January 29, 2015 Thank you both very much. I am having the switch looked at based on other recent posts and got it on the locations. Greatly appreciate the input Regards Buzz Quote
AndyFromCB Posted January 29, 2015 Report Posted January 29, 2015 What's the switch up to these days? $2200? Quote
flyboy0681 Posted January 29, 2015 Report Posted January 29, 2015 What's the switch up to these days? $2200? I had a new one installed about two years ago. All in, I think the tab came out to $1,200. Quote
schule Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 Just replaced my split trim switch on the yoke. $800. A couple of hours soldering the jumpers and wiring. Works great. There is a thread somewhere here within in the last couple weeks mentioning a shop in Texas who can rebuild all three microswitches for less. Autopilots Central in Oklahoma was great to work with. Good luck. Quote
