I have a trimble 2000 with which I fky IFR in Europe.

I'd be interested to hear how many others fly with a Trimble?

I bougth the plane in January and didn't know what a Trimble was until then. It took me so e getting used to, and now I fly in IMC with the Trimble, my yoke mounted Garmin 550 and my ipad. Any other with similiar antiquated equipment? Experience? Best practices?

I have the TNL 2000A Trimble since 1992. The unit has been working flawlessly since. Be ware that there is an internal battery for the memory that on mine lasted 15 years. I also have the GNS 530AW for primary navigation but on ocassions I use the Trimble for constant display of distance and time to destination. It makes for an excellent navigation backup.

I have one as well. I agree with Jose. Constant presentation to waypoints. Also connected to my STEC 50. Sent from my iPad
