  6. checked rigging, looks right on, IA has question. "Why did the control surface movement change from 10 to 22 starting with S/N 690001? and on my E the shaft is close to or hits the left side of the engine mount bolt yet on a 64 C on the field it is 2 in below and left, yet both are "TIGHT"? Bill
  7. On pilot side, the yoke shaft hits the engine mount bolt head and "hangs" a bit. nothing appears to be loose or worn, Not always but whenever the IA checks it. Any idea how to fix? Bill
  8. i got my ppl at 21 in 1970 at Kobelt AIrport, Wallkill NY (Just NW of Stewart) at the time Stewart just went publlic and was used by airlines to train 747 pilots in landings (before sims). I can remember being on downwind there and the tower warning me of wake turbulance of a 747 on downwind too ( abt 5 miles to my right), full flaps, gear down, he would obviously pass me in my cherokee 140 and turn base, final then touch an go do it again. I could land 3 times on that long runway. Mount Beacon was 3.5 miles away and if we could see that it was VFR. Bill
  9. i'm 67 but lost medical 3 years ago and FAA just told my AME TO "wish me luck" if I were to apply again. My Doctor says cancer is no longer active, but the FAA thinks otherwise. So my Mooney is in annual and may soon be sold. Ihave taken up High Performance Driving Education and am a certified Instructor. Sort of like flying low When plane sells I'll get something faster.. C: Support says: The USB drivers for your data card programmer can be downloaded from the link below: http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=010-10579-00 D: installed the drivers and FlightPlan Migrator (drivers come with this install). and restarted the process from the web.
