  1. Quote: Hank I do owner-assisted annuals, and always thought removing the one-piece belly was a chore. Undo 52 screws, drop that large panel a few inches, unplug the antenna then remove the panel. THEN I saw another plane with the original belly, and decided it's not that bad after all. Would I spend the money for airspeed? Most likely not. But there are other benefits, too, especially if you get one of the newer ones with dzus connectors instead of #8 screws.
  2. Here is what i have!
  3. That vimeo video wasn't actually mine. It was a friends. My video's are all on youtube under piperpainter . I use a Stealth Drift 170 camera. I've mounted it inside most the time but now have a mount on my wingtip. You can see video of that under my video titled "Lakeview airstrip" on youtube.
  4. Chicken Strip is open again and we had a work team go fix it up this winter. Please adhere to the take it in take it out policy if you go. It's a very nice strip I plan on going, but haven't yet!
  5. No cows this time! I'm sure i'll see them when I go visit my Dad this spring/summer though! Anyway here is a vid of the strip as well! http://vimeo.com/37064512

  7. The Bacon Ranch Strip about HEC/037/18.4. Smoother than a baby's bottom and just as nice as any asphalt or concrete runway! Even ask Casey a fellow Mooney owner that went with me to make sure he didn't ding his baby, oh wait....I didn't ding mine either! Great times. The place has tie downs, fire pit and a nice deck along with bathroom ammenteties! Enjoy
