  1. 180 KNOTS or 180MPH ? Is the engine turbo? Most of those gages are in MPH
  2. Its almost flying! Engine is now on the airplane. My mechanic got backed up for months with work. Hes finally working on my plane.
  3. My tail number is N69(Lol)3MM everyone calls me MikeMike
  4. Im looking at a Bravo to purchase! Yours looks fantastic!
  5. I was the one that posted it on Facebook! Its incredible what these planes can accomplish.
  6. Thats a nice late winter in Arizona!
  7. This is amazing news!! Thank you
  8. Chris is like this all the time, you just get used to it. But to answer your question, I would file one andnmore than likely, nothing will happen. Was there no light up X on the runway? Thats usually designates a runway closure. Good job recognizing Hypoxia and getting down as quick as possible. What caused it though?
  9. Couldn't have said it any better. If you only fly within your limits. You can never grow or expand them. Now, I'm not saying to buzz residential areas. But flying low over a wide open field with no terrain or property is not dangerous and should not he called out on it.
  10. Are you really complaining on Trent's flying? Why do people feel the need to be mightier than others. He's safe at that altitude and he didnt do anything wrong. You should be focusing on the Trevor idiot who Trent is talking about in this video. He's the real danger to aviation. Not Trent's having.
  11. How the heck is this spam? He is sharing his video that he made.
  12. I have taken my Mooney M20C into dirt strips multiple times. The plane handled it very well
  13. I first started using foreflight in the beginning of my Aviation journey. Omce I got my Mooney M20C and installed the GTN750, that changed. I have been using Garmin Pilot for 4-5 years and I really enjoy it. For once Garmin makes something that is actually cheaper than a competitor . Besides that though, I like the interface and the regular map that Garmin created. It doesn't have every feature that Foreflight has, but it does have a lot. Since Garmin owns Flight plan go. It is nice to be abke to created detailed flight plans on flight plan go directly in Garmin Pilot. Getting your weather briefing on Garmin pilot is nice aswell. Database concierge is a feature that I didnt think was going to be that great until i tried it and used it! I never have to take the card out of my GPS (I have the special flightstream 510). Bottom line, both are great, foreflight does more but at a significantly higher price and to me I cant justify that.
  14. Sort of unrelated, I just wish I can buy Monroy fuel tanks.
  15. Thanks for the well written response. I'm planning on being everywhere from AZ-NJ and down to Pheonix. I'll be doing trips like these multiple times a year

  17. Thank you for the reply! So does the NO FIKI still work alright?
  18. Thank you for the reply. This is very disappointing news.
  19. Geez, i hope not... that would suck
  20. Hello everyone. I am currently looking at a 1994 Mooney Braov that has TKS. When looking at the pictures, on the panel there is a placars stating its not approved to fly into known icing. I thought all Bravos were FIKI approved. If its not, what would have to be done to get it approved.
  21. I've had that exact experience. For me, I've have my family size smartfood popcorn explode at 13,200. I heard a loud pop and wondered if something broke. Looked around and saw the popcorn bag open
