  1. I meant to say he cleaned the injectors before everything. I just came back from a long trip and wanted him to clean the injectors. He did that then did a compression check and borescope and found cylinder #5 to be bad.
  2. I wish I can answer those questions. I kinda forgot. My mechanic hasn't checked the mag time. He is cleaning the fuel injectors. He tested the probes and they are all indicating normal. But here is the sad news...... Cylinder #5 is completely dead. It scored a 4 on the compression test. My mechanic borescoped it and oil is kinda puddled in that cylinder. Kinda sucks I just got this plane from Maxwell. On other news he checked/borescoped the other cylinders. My two problem cylinders were actually the best!! #1 & #3 were 76 and 78!! He borescoped those and and everything looks clean. #2 and 4# the valves seem to have a slight bend.
  3. You are definitely right!
  4. I should have mentioned, at the power setting 30/22 I was able to fly LOP nicely. I lose about 13 knots but I'm burning 15 gallons and TIT of 1600 and cylinders at 373 the hottest.
  5. So I tried 30" and 22rpm, I was at 16,500 yesterday flying home and tried ROP and my Cylinder #1 was at 408 and cylinder #3 was at 414. My TIT was about 1430s. I have a two TIT gauges. One for the JPI, the other is the standard analog gauge. I tried lower power settings at lower altitudes and higher altitude and this engine won't run ROP at all. Even down low, my Cylinders are high and my TIT is low. With and extremely high fuel burn. Maybe my injectors should get cleaned? They are gami.
  6. I sent the photo to Lance, but I might aswell send the picture of the baffles here. One thing I learned today after I changed my oil. I might not have installed/positioned the baffles correctly when I took the cowling off previously
  7. Thanks Lance. I'm doing an oil change on the plane now. I'll send you a picture of what they look like
  8. I tried leaning to TIT, but for my engine, my Cylinders get way to hot. I'm at 412 when I lean for tit
  9. Thank you so much ill try that now
  10. Mooney M20M Bravo
  11. That percent power on the JPI is inaccurate
  12. I know there are countless of pages regarding power setting and how to run this engine. But when I try any of these power settings. I can't get anywhere near the fuel burn for that particular power. I must be doing something wrong and not leaning properly. I'm afraid to lean this airplane (ROP or LOP) because when I start to. My engine gets ridiculously hot like 413°. It seems like I can only fly this engine at full rich when I'm above 14,000. I just did a long cross-country from Utah to New York. I'm tried different settings and the results are not what I was expecting. I should note that I am still learning this plane
  13. That's why I asked you . Thank you for answering!
  14. Do you know if my Bravo (9153x) has the Eaton actuator?
  15. I used to own a M20C. I just upgraded to a M20M and I absolutely love the plane. The cargo space is really nice. I have great speeds. When I do local flights I pull the power out to like 150knots and still getting 12gallons. I would the g1000 bravo. I picked the bravo over the m20k due to it being a long body and that it had a lycoming engine in it.
  16. I did find a similar gauge that Rochester makes. It is not exact but it is close. There is slight modification that I had to do in which I had to cut and file down smooth the plastic screw tabs. The gauge number is 5-1792. This website seems to have it. I don't know the validity of this website, but I believe they have it. https://www.rrclllc.com/store/Rochester-5323S01792-JR-size-direct-read-dial-capsule-p315526097 I didn't remark the dial. I just mounted it off center. It's kinda tough to explain without a picture. The replacement dial doesn't have the markings like they would on the mooney ones. Instead they have E, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, F. So I looked at the old dial on the other wing and realized that 22 gals indicates 1/2 full. I noticed 22 gals isn't exactly lined up with the middle like the new dial when it indicates half full. So I just glued the new dial and turned it to the right slightly
  17. I wish I can still buy mooney merchandise from them
  18. I agree with you. But incase of Subaru. You can legally manufacture your own parts or use stuff that are similar. With a airplane. It's a little bit of a grey area with PMA. Especially with newerish airplanes
  19. The MSC were willing to pay whatever it took. Not just for this part, but for a lot of other parts that are causing planes to be grounded. Mooney said no
  20. That reasoning does make sense. But dang that would just be sad. I wished someone from the company was able to be open and upfront today
  21. Kinda of a dumb question. Is Johhmy Pollack still the CEO of Mooney? We haven't heard from him in a while and i can't seem to find his account on here. He used to answer questions and what not. After he sold his Acclaim he's been radio silent
  22. I just don't understand Mooney's thought process on all this.
  23. Those look like it! Just need to cut the screw tape off.
  24. Yea the capsules are all exactly the same. The face is just different. I can take out my other gauge and messure
  25. I agree, I want them to be successful. But I feel like the service centers would be able to make these
