  1. Just passed through Zürich yesterday. Leaving Lucerne today. Have fun!!!
  2. I am totally good with you and Mike NOT buying my plane. Regional Mooney shops are competent and available for a pre buy. I have zero interest, as a seller, in having my $60ish k airplane flown thousands of miles to “your” beloved shop. If that is your litmus test, I am out. Next buyer...
  3. Not by this owner.
  4. Meh. E.R. Physician would mean highly skilled at dealing with trauma. Stopping bleeding. Clearing airways. Splinting. Just being a human being..as well as assessing and helping others clear vicinity of aircraft. He was ABLE, but not willing...nice video. Could of been great with quiet friend filming him being a DR and doing no harm helping heal...FAIL
  5. Not. That you find it reasonable is fine. That I do not should also be fine....Find a neutral location that is regional. If you can not buy a plane close to home...
  6. Nope. Not “typical”. It is an agreed location for prebuy. That you find it “reasonable “ to move a plane a thousand miles to be reviewed is simply NOT “typical” no matter how much you say it. There are plenty of good regional shops to complete a prebuy. This ask is fine if you want to do it, but is not expected...
  7. Mooney for the win. Checkmate...
  8. Good calls! Hoffbrau haus and English garden boxes checked. Beautiful scenery too! Wave boarders fun to watch! 0B9F884C-0C37-4336-B4D8-59D6B536CCFB.MOV
  9. We are a little early for the official Oktoberfest, but we are going to get the party started. Happy Birthday to me
  10. Going out of CONUS for first time tomorrow. Where should we have our first beer in Munich?
  11. I will delete my posts.
  12. No doubt Tom. Rocket Engineering did me a solid. I needed the part. They don’t stock it, but they (Patrick) FOUND IT and arranged for “it” to be shipped to me. Whoever is making “the part” is getting their “effort” back by charging handsomely for “it”. I could of said “No”. Or even “Hell No”, but I need this for oil changes as it would be an absolute mess without it. My bad for not posting, but I hate putting others out for my problem. I was just trying to entertain myself and (maybe others)? Vicariously made myself feel better as overpaying as a “collective” somehow feels better than being the only “mark”. We all share in the joy of that “overpriced” (at least in our eyes) part or service. I understand it is a price of admission, but as a CB it is my duty to be self-righteous So I guess we don’t have that special bond yet where across the ethos you sensed I was in need and shot me a part lol....damn. Next time I will reach out. I still need the sump plug that the adapter fits into. I welcome a part number for best one.
  13. I can take one. It is in the plane right now.
  14. So having been a pilot and single engine airplane owner what is the most overpriced item you ever purchased? I think I bought my overpriced “leader” to date this week. The Missile has a lot going on underneath and the oil drain hits “stuff” without an adapter. I called Rocket Engineering and Patrick did not stock “the tool”, but found one. It was $187 COD. With shipping was $215 bucks. What did I get? A 12” piece of small diameter aluminum tube with a male adapter for a quick drain plug. There is a slight bend in the tube. Seriously this thing is like .50 cents worth of aluminum with a couple prongs and a flange riveted to the bottom...Sigh. Drain plug NOT included What’s your “Gotta have it at any price” item?
