  1. Sure, here ya go! https://talcoaviation-my.sharepoint.com/:b:/g/personal/tlangeland_talco_aero/IQDas4Z3ncNASqtyWWk0XVx1AWlmFgeIjpVM4JlqNN1Xk7I?e=t9jwOA
  2. The RJ0193 clamps that RAJAY sells still have the 500 Time In Service limitation.
  3. Hello all, the latest electric compressor is approved by an AMOC (Alternate Method Of Compliance) in the late 1990s to address the AD. These pumps were tested in a lab using many different failure modes and various environments to FAA standards and FAA witnessing. Hundreds, if not thousands have been sold over the past 30+ years. Very, very few failures have occurred which have required replacement. I'm an airplane owner as well and I get it. Cheap alternatives are enticing. However, we have costs of doing business as it relates to FAA PMA, inspections, paperwork, liabilities, safety, insurance and etc. Any business owner understands that there is a cheap way and a right way especially when working in a highly regulated industry like aviation. Many times, I see Bob Fields Inflatable Door Seal listed as an upgraded STC when selling an airplane. An unapproved modified door seal is not. To each their own. Wishing everyone blue skies and safe flying! Tom
  4. FYI - Bob Fields Inflatable Door Seals is offering a $75 discount on all Mooney door seals to Mooneyspace users at www.aerocessories.aero. Be sure to use discount code MS2025 to claim the discount.
  5. Hello, You need to drill a hole in the door as indicated in red on the attached image. Note 5 is for Mooney aircraft models. Disregard the hole on the vertical surface. The hole on the vertical surface of the door are for non-Mooney models. The grey valve stem of the door seal is fed through that hole to the inside of the door. Thanks for the note @LANCECASPER Tom
  6. Hi @TNIndy, are you looking for the Owner's Manual for the F? RAJAY Turbo Products doesn't own the STC for the Mooney C/E/F however, we do have all the technical data and many parts are common to other PMA'd parts we produce and stock. With that said, I do not have a complete E/F Owner's Manual. I only have the IPC. Feel free to email support@rajay.aero if you would like a copy. Thanks for the heads up @carusoam!
  7. Thank you @carusoam for the page. We specialize in the legacy/vintage airplane RAJAY STCs. Not a lot of experience with the OEM installations. Looks like @Yooper Rocketman knows a thing or two about this particular installation!
  8. If you have the panel mounted pneumatic toggle valve, I would recommend replacement. Alternatively, try pinching off the air pressure down stream of the toggle valve and see if it holds. This will verify if it is the toggle valve.
  9. @rbp, that would be interesting, but they have to be willing to sell it first.
  10. Unfortunately, STC use authorization for your specific aircraft is required. It is more self-policing and between you and your A&P/IA though.
  11. Hi @canamex, the short answer is no. Even if it was possible the cost of a new kit nowadays would be in the $35,000 range plus 80 hours of installation time.
  12. Hi Guys, RAJAY doesn't own the airframe STC for the legacy M20A thru M20G. Only the M20J. The Engine STC that applies to the M20A thru G is only 1/2 of the puzzle. STCs that officially become abandoned end up being locked away forever in the FAA. Technically, the FAA is supposed to be able to release necessary data to maintain an existing modified aircraft for continued airworthiness, but they don't do that without an act if congress...they are afraid of litigation by third parties who may also have proprietary data in that file. For example...RAJAY uses the same exhaust gasket for all their STCs. If the FAA were to release that specific drawing, they would have a lawsuit on their hands. So, the FAA just doesn't do it.
  13. Thank you for your input GeeBee. It is noted.
  14. Sorry, I didn't realize you were referring to an M20R. Guy is correct, the STC does not cover this model. You would need to work with your IA and local FISDO to get a field approval. It is fairly straight forward and shouldn't be too much of an issue. In recent years, the FSDO has become very conservative in approvals, but I think this will be an easy one for them. Many have done this including Mooney Service Centers in the past. Tom
  15. @Mark89114, there is a 20% Off Winter Sales Event going on now at www.aerocessories.aero for inflatable door seals.
  16. RAJAY has check valves if needed. There are two different types in stock; the "flapper door" style and the "spring loaded" type. Neither are PMA'd so we can provide specs of each to make your own determination and application. Search for RJ5315 and/or RJ5316. Tom
  17. ...and then his wife attempted to run it for a while with the help of a mechanic who ended up buying the STC. He then failed to complete the entire purchase and ended up in prison on unrelated but aviation related crimes. This person, from what I understand has been released from prison and still claims ownership somehow. Surviving family of Bill Sandman want nothing to do with it...this is my understanding.
  18. I know exactly where and what. Give me a call if you want to hear the long version!
  19. Hi @DaveM, give us a call @ www.rajay.aero so I can fully understand the situation. Not sure if we can help since it is not our STC, but willing to give it a shot.
  20. Bob Fields Inflatable door seals are amazing. Ask thousands of satisfied customers. Mine was installed in 1987 and still works great. www.aerocessories.aero
  21. Thousands of inflatable door seals have been installed for many decades. Mine was installed in 1987 and still works great. www.aerocessories.aero
  22. Hi there. I believe we spoke with Mr. bbakerco earlier this week. M20 Turbo, Inc. is a different STC than those developed by RAJAY. However, many components used by M20 Turbo STC originates from the RAJAY STCs. It sounds like the M20 STC uses a RAJAY fuel pump. I believe the OP has come up with a workaround. Regards, Tom
  23. Yes there is!
  24. All you have to do is open the door, close the air valve, pump a little air into the seal and shut the door. If it is electric, you just switch the power on for a second or two to add some air then switch the power off. Yes, the deluxe is nice because you don't have to reach across the passenger. Sometimes they pop the door open before releasing the air pressure. The deluxe provides the toggle valve near the pilot so you can throw the valve open quickly before they open the door. Remember though, it doesn't necessarily hurt the seal, but over time, it may wear a little quicker or put excess strain on your door latch.
