  3. Brian Kendrick did my WASS upgrade about 8 yrs. ago in my Ovation with the 310 hp and switched the settings in my G1000 software to the Ovation 3 which gave me 2700 RPM’s and allowed me to remove my digital tach.
  4. I never had a problem using my battery powered vac.
  5. East Coast aircraft paint and interior in Deland, I had them do some interior work for me.
  6. Where can these decals be found?
  7. Why is your elevator trim switch in the off position? The elevator trim switch needs to be on.
  8. In my “R” it seems I need to set my rudder trim left of center when in cruise, I don’t know about the others. I set my rudder trim right of center when on final and works well especially if you always plan for a go around you’re not going to need a tremendous amount of right rudder when things get busy.
  9. Check the position of your rudder trim on final and you’ll find that you will have to add more right rudder trim than you think.
  10. You have to make sure that the oil funnel you’re using is pushed down into the dip stick tube if you don’t that’s what happens
  11. Check with Plane Exhaust Corp. located at KFXE…right down the rode from you, phone number 954-735-4412. They did some work for me a few years ago.
  12. If you’re going to replace the factory screw just make sure the new screw is the same length, you definitely don’t want to replace it with a longer screw. I would just clean up the threads apply sealant and reinstall.
  13. I am in the process of getting my front seats reupholstered and before I reinstall them I would like to know the proper lubricant for the seat rails.
  14. My M20R tire pressures are 49 nose 42 mains
  15. I know that one of the features of the -37 upgrade is you will now be able to receive FIS-B weather.
  16. Take a look in your tail, I found a birds nest there once. After I removed the next I plugged the opening with a sponge when it was parked outside.
  17. Edison at WetWingologist KFXE stripped and sealed both my fuel tanks when I owned my M20J about 10 years ago and did a great job and was very easy to deal with. I also recommended him to a few of my friends, one with a M20R and another with a M20F and they both had good experiences. Hopefully I won’t need my Ovation done in the near future but when the time comes I’ll give Edison a call.
  18. Air Gage & Air compressor, your tires always need a few pounds.
  19. I payed $490 last year with a G1000 & stand-by altimeter and they came to my hangar. I’ve had leaks in the past and was never charged anything above the fixed rate to do the static check.
  20. I’ve also bumped the switch with my left hand holding the yoke in turbulence, the button is sensitive.
  21. I use the top 2 slots in the PFD and MFD. When updating the nav data on the MFD I pull out the check list in the top slot and replace it when I’m finished with the update.
  22. I’m going to try East Coast Paint & Interior in Deland but only replacing the accordion around my entrance door. The quote was $1,200 and I also asked for a quote on my front seats (leather) $6,300.
  23. Brown has required an IPC annually for the past few years and I finally switched over to the them 2yrs ago. Brown has always had lower premiums. I have 6,000+ hours and just turned 71, it doesn’t seem like loyalty matters anymore.
