bnelson1967 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 Hi All, I just bought a '68 M20F and the baggage door arm assembly is missing. I've been trying to find one on the internet but no luck so far. Can anyone suggest where I might be able to find one? Quote
carusoam Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 Have you tried calling Stacey Ellis at Mooney (Sellis here at MS)? They still have some parts at near reasonable prices on a shelf sometimes??? Best regards, -a- Quote
funvee Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 I'm looking for the exact same part fr my 67 F, if you find a supply, please let me know. Thanks Shawn Quote
M20F-1968 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 The part is the same as the current production. In fact, the door from the current models fit as well. John Breda Quote
jbgood11X Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 I HAVE A COMPLETE BAGGAGE DOOR FOR IT CALL ME 815 210 2675 OR EMAIL johnnyb1026@yahoo.com thnx john Quote
danb35 Posted February 25, 2013 Report Posted February 25, 2013 I'd recommend calling your nearest/favorite Mooney service center (LASAR, Maxwell, SWTA seem to have a robust parts business) rather than the factory--the factory doesn't sell parts directly to individuals. Quote
Scopes Posted February 25, 2013 Report Posted February 25, 2013 I got one from LASAR last fall, can't remember exactly what they charged but I think 20 or 30 bucks. Condition was as new. Quote
scottfromiowa Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 I'll be shocked if you can find one for under $100, let me know if I'm wrong. I'd looking for a door slide for my M20C baggage door as it won't hold the door up when there is any wind. That door hurts when it hits you in the head. I got one from Wilmar for under $20 bucks a few years ago. New Quote
scottfromiowa Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 Yes...it does frigg'n hurt when it whacks you. Only happened once Quote
